Description: Scarce 1963 Sonny Liston vs. Cassius Clay original underbout fight card. Significant original typewritten preliminary card on official stationary featuring images of both Liston and Clay. The various undercard fights are listed on the sheet including both light heavyweight and heavyweight fights. The most intriguing quality of the piece may well be the vintage writing on the reverse that state, "Attn: Mr. Morris Klein-Clay has all of the signs & symptoms of a paranoid condition (which is a sign of insanity in a young man his age). I firmly think that he should be examined again by your physicians, in order for them to reevaluate him, which in turn might prevent serious consequences tonight. R.C.
