Description: Boston Red Sox warm-up jacket c.1940's. Heavy blue wool jacket with original embroidered sox logo patch on front. No tagging present which appears to be as issued, shows excellent usage wear with only some light fraying at top of elastic on neck and small hole at bottom of one pocket. Several similar jackets that have recently turned up have been attributed to the 1946 AL Championship season. Includes LOA from David Bushing/Dan Knoll: EX
