Description: Scarce 1920 Nemo Leibold Chicago White Sox road uniform. Classic heavy grey flannel jersey with trademark "Sox" logo on breast. Retains original Thos. E. Wilson & Co. tag in collar and has blue appointments to collar and end of sleeves. Tail of jersey has been trimmed (most likely by Leibold) and as such probably had Leibold's name chain stitched on tail. Pants are matching grey flannel with identical Thos. E. Wilson & Co. tag, "Leboldt" (misspelled, not uncommon for the era) chain stitched along button area of crotch. Other then trimmed tail both shirt and pants remain very clean with light overall wear. Leibold was the team's smallest player and given the small size of the jersey and pants would not have fit any other player on the team. This style of uniform is not only exceedingly rare but among the most desired of all teams from the era with very few similar examples extant.
