Description: Rare 1931 Cliff Heathcote Cincinnati Reds road jersey. Grey flannel jersey with original red on black team name on front, retains Goldsmith tag in collar and has "Heathcote 4-31" chain stitched in tail front. Jersey is in remarkable original condition with general light wear incl. minor piping and (2) small repairs at end of yoke. This Reds jersey represents one of the earliest known examples to surface in the public marketplace. Includes LOA from Global David Bushing/Dan Knoll/Mike Baker: EX
