Description: Enormous Chicago Cubs panoramic photograph c.1909. Dual image of the Cubs pictured in street clothing and in sweaters standing on the field in Boston with various period advertisements in background on the fencing. Players include Tinker, Evers, Chance, and Brown with National League Chicago Cubs" printed at bottom. Measures 9 1/2"x67" and has been mounted on archival board for stability. Image has some restoration incl. (3 )vertical repairs, inpainted chip on top edge, and a few repaired/inpainted surface tears. Very impressive display piece is the first example we have handled: EX (With note to restoration)
