Description: Rare 1914 Philadelphia Athletics World Series press pin. One of most attractive and desired of the early World Series pins the offered example has brass pinbar plate having elephant logo decor with enameled ball from which suspends a blue and white ribbon with orig. "Press" gilt lettering. Green and blue enameled medallion on bottom remains intact and is marked J.E. Caldwell, Phila. on back. Has some adhesive residue on back of top pinbar plate which should be removable and has some typical frailty to the ribbon area: EX
