Description: Significant group of (10) H.Harwood & Sons Base Ball letters/invoices c.1864-1869. The offered group represents the earliest collection of baseball related equipment invoices and correspondance that we have encountered. Each is handwritten on Harwood stationary with player illustration at top left. All appear to have been written and signed by Harwood himself with content regarding orders for balls, ball "sacks", and the like. All appear to have been sent to "Gilbert & Wells" : Range EX-NM
