Description: Rare Bill Russell Boston Celtics warm-up jacket c.1960's. Deep Celtic green fleece button down jacket with "Boston" on front and applied name bar on back with "Russell". Retains original shamrocks on sleeves and Horace Partridge tag in collar. Obtained in the period by a former referee and is being offered for the first time publicly. Along with Chamberlain Bill Russell dominated the game during the 1960's with several legendary meetings between the two giants. Jacket shows some lt. age wear incl. (1) missing button and (2) replaced buttons. Includes letter from family and LOA from Global David Bushing/Dan Knoll/Mike Baker: EX
