Description: Fine baseball figural trophy watercolor study c.1915-20. Large 22"x54" painting on board of an ornate figural baseball trophy having crossed bat design surrounding spider style catcher's mask. Top of trophy features pitcher figural, painted as a study for an actual trophy in the period. Had once been in (4) sections and was professionally re-attached with some inpainting on the attachment lines. Mounted on archival board and framed, truly unique piece of baseball related artwork: EX (With note to re-attachment)
