Description: University of Pennsylvania baseball and football decorated stein by Mettlach c.1890-1910. High quality porcelain handled stein by Mettlach depicting full football scene on one side panel and baseball on the opposite. Stein measures 9" tall retaining its original pewter hinged lid. Outstanding original color with Mettlach hallmark on the base. Displays at NM level with the baseball portion visible, there is a large crack (glued from the inside) which runs downward along the handle and encroaches upon the football scene: See descriptionEstimated Price Range: ($300-$500)
