Description: 1989 Mike Schmidt autographed professional model baseball bat (PSA/DNA GU 9.5). Rawlings Adirondack Pro Ring bat with Schmidt facsimile signature in the barrel measures 34.5" long and weighs 35.7oz. Model number "154B" is factory stamped in the knob along with bat and date codes. Number "20" is written on either end in vintage black marker. Outstanding use is largely concentrated on the upper hitting surface which is covered in ball/contact marks. In addition there are red rack streak and several ball transfer marks on the barrel. Light pine tar can be seen on the handle (which has an "H" shaped crack) and the lower handle/knob are taped for grip. Originally obtained by a collector who received items directly from players and team employees in the period. Includes LOA from PSA/DNA (GU 9.5), auction LOA from JSA (autograph), LOA from Hunt Auctions, letter of provenance: EX"Estimated Price Range: ($2,000-$4,000)
