Description: Choice 1982 Pete Rose Philadelphia Phillies professional model road jersey (SGC/Grob: Superior) Desirable powder blue jersey has the "P" team logo on left front chest and player number "14" on the right. Number also appears on back below a "Rose" nameplate. In the collar is a "Rose" embroidered strip tag. Wilson tag on left front tail notes size (44) and an embroidered strip tag below reads "82 1" (year and set number). In exceptional all original condition with use and wash wear evident throughout. Rose spent (5) seasons in Philadelphia and helped the Phillies claim the 1980 World Series title and the 1983 N.L. Pennant. He made his 16th All-Star appearance in 1982 and added (172) hits to his record career total of (4,256). Among the best early 1980s Phillies jerseys we have handled in nearly (30) years with regard to stature of player, overall condition, and all original state.
