Description: Mike Schmidt attributed early career Philadelphia Phillies professional model hat c.1970s. Maroon hat has white embroidered "P" team logo and a white button accent. "Wilson Professional Cap" tag appears on the interior band beside stamped in "7 1/2" size. While no date code is present we believe that the style of tagging employed helps date the hat to the earlier portion of Schmidt's career. A vintage number "20" is written under the brim in marker and there is mild evident use. Schmidt would go on the become the face of the Phillies and is perhaps the most revered player in their long and storied history.
