Description: Tug McGraw autographed Philadelphia Phillies professional model hat c.1970s. Vintage hat dating to the mid-1970s has number "45" written under the brim in vintage marker. "Wilson Professional Cap..." tag is on the interior band which is stamped with the size (7 1/2). A date code just below reading "GRC" would suggest manufacture in 1974, the season before McGraw joined the Phillies. It is unknown if it was issued for use in 1974 (45 was worn by Ron Diorio and Pete Reichert that year) or if it was a holdover issued to McGraw in 1975 (his first season with the club).
