Horizontal format Christmas card as sent by Cobb to an acquaintance signed on the interior in black fountain pen, "Wishing you a Merry X-mas Ty Cobb". Signature and inscription rate 9 out of 10. The4"x7" booklet style card features nature scene on front with blank back page having been separated from booklet. Includes printed insert card with Christmas scene and pre-printed greeting with "Tyrus R. Cobb" stamped name. The offered card was recently discovered within an East Coast estate of an acquaintance of Cobb along with the other signed greeting cards within this auction.
