Description: Scarce 1954 Bill Renna Philadelphia Athletics professional model home uniform with related professional model hat (Final Year In Philadelphia). Highly attractive one year style flannel uniform as worn by the Athletics during their final season in Philadelphia before relocating to Kansas City. Royal blue on red embroidered "Athletics" team name across the front with matching "8" on back. MacGregor manufacturer's label inside collar with size 46 indicator and "Set 1 1954" flag tag inside tail front. Matching pants are also included having similar MacGregor/Set 1 1954 tagging additionally including blue leather/elastic belt. Very rare one year style professional model hat is also included with red/white/blue embroidered "A" on front of blue hat with Wilson manufacturer's label on interior headband. "34" written in black marker under bill along with blue crossed off name as well. Highly desirable style uniform which is believed to be one of, if not the only, surviving home example.
