Description: Fine Bill Russell Boston Celtics warm-up jacket c.1960s. Green fleece jacket has "Boston" team name lettered across the front in white on yellow tackle twill. "Russell" nameplate in white is snapped on the back. "Wilson" tag in the collar notes with "44" and "Extra Long" adjacent flag tags. Jacket exhibits heavy use including 1/2" hole at seam area on back of the collar, small hole on end of left sleeve area, and is missing five of its original green buttons. General visual appearance and presentation remain very fine and presents in all original unaltered state. Issued to Russell at the height of his career serving as the anchor of a Celtics dynasty that claimed (11) NBA Championships. An iconic equipment piece as worn by one of the greatest players of all-time with exceptional provenance.
