Description: Red Auerbach 1984 Boston Celtics NBA Championship wristwatch (Photo match). Omega 10K gold plated stainless steel wristwatch as issued to Red Auerbach in commemoration of the Celtics 1984 NBA Championship. The dial façade displays Celtics clover insignia with basketball decorative numerals and "1984 World Champion Boston Celtics" titling. The watch was a particular favorite of Auerbach's based on evident usage wear and its presence in a number of photo matches. Among the images of Red wearing the offered watch includes the cover of the 1995 program issued for Auerbach's final game in the Boston Garden. Watch not currently in running order with some moderate wear to the metal band. Very fine Celtics championship presentational jewelry piece from the central figure in team history.
