Description: 1991 Dan Marino autographed Miami Dolphins professional model helmet with equipment Manager documentation. White Dolphins helmet by Riddell has orange and teal accent stripes and a team logo on either side. Player number "13" decals are applied on back along with the NFL shield, "Dolphins", and Warning labels. A "Marino 13" dymo label is inside along with "Marino 13" handwritten notation, size "L" sticker, and additional "13-1-91" note (slightly smudged). Strong use is evident throughout including scuffs and scrapes. Signed in marker rating 7 out of 10. An included letter on team stationary from former Dolphins equipment Manager Robert Monica states that "it is in fact an authentic Dolphins helmet used by Dan Marino during the 1991-92 Dolphins season." The face mask and and jaw pads were replaced and/or added subsequent to the year in which Marino would have worn the helmet however the clips appear original and have proper date code. A highly desirable piece of equipment related to one of the premier quarterbacks of our time.
