Description: 1973 John Hannah New England Patriots "Most Valuable Offensive Player" trophy. Large presentational trophy awarded to John Hannah for his efforts during his Rookie season with the New England Patriots. Hannah was drafted by New England as the fourth pick in 1973 and would spend his entire career with the team during which he was established as one of greatest offensive lineman in NFL history. Impressive trophy stands approx. 29" tall with a figural football player at top and (4) additional on a platform just below. An engraved metal placard on the base front reads "3rd Annual Memorial To Cardinal Richard J. Cushing, Most Valuable Offensive Player New England Patriots 1973..." Touch of light wear.
