Description: 1972 John Hannah "College Football Player Of The Year Award." Figural trophy has engraved metal placard on the base which reads "Miami Touchdown Club's 1972 College Football Player Of The Year Award, John Hannah, University of Alabama." The piece stands just under 16" tall on 9"x9" base. Hannah was a consensus All-American during his Senior year with the Crimson Tide and would earn similar accolades from Touchdown Clubs in Columbus, Birmingham, and Washington and was also awarded the Jacobs Trophy as the SEC's best blocking lineman.
