Description: Fran Tarkenton attributed turf shoes and presentational football c.1970s. Includes pair of Puma brand size (10.5) turf shoes which each have the number "10" written in on the outer heel in period black marker; Wilson P.Rozelle Official NFL white night stripe football which has "#1 Player NFL '75" hand painted on in period white block letter. Just below is a very faint signature of Fran Tarkenton with a now illegible personalization above having faded from view. It has been relayed by our consignor that when visible the inscription read "To Cy Jones. One of the all time greats." Tarkenton was the NFL MVP in 1975 and enjoyed perhaps his finest season in the game. Both the cleats and football show mild use and some general age related wear.
