Description: 2007 Bill Russell FIBA Hall of Fame Induction Ring. Original tooled silver ring as presented to Russell in honor of his selection to the FIBA Hall of Fame in 2007. The ring features an inset rotating ring band which displays repeating pattern images of the FIBA logo and Hall of Fame symbols. Interior band has manufacturer's hallmarks and "35" numeric stamp. Retains its original leather hinged lid case with applied brass placards "Player" and "Bill Russell" on exterior. Very rare and desirable Hall of Fame induction ring from the prestigious International Basketball Federation founded in 1932. The lot also includes a typewritten letter to Russell from USA Basketball dated 2007 and signed by Jim Tooley in congratulations for the nomination.
