Typewritten one page letter dated May 23, 1966 from chairman Ben Heineman outlining the topics for the conference to discuss economic social justice concerns within corporate America. Included are four pages of handwritten notes by Bill Russell noting, in part, "The lack of leadership in helping to create a more favorable atmosphere to break down the economic barrier that the Negro faces in becoming part of the main stream of the American economy.". Poignant and interesting period documents which provide context into the economic struggle of African American citizens during the 1960s era.
