Description: 1981 Gary Carter autographed Montreal Expos professional model road jersey (SGC/Grob: "Superior"). Blue jersey has "Expos" team name and logo on the left front chest and number "8" on right. Number also appears on back below the name "Carter." In the collar is a Rawlings tag noting size (46). "Set 1 1981" flag is on the inside front tail. Signed on the front in marker rating 7 out of 10. Use and wash wear are evident throughout. "The Kid" spent a decade in Montreal where he would earn (3) Gold Glove Awards for his defensive play and (3) of his (5) total Silver Sluggers for his offensive production. He is the first Cooperstown Inductee to be shown on his plaque as a member of the Montreal Expos.
