Description: 1960 New York Yankees photography archive (85) from September 23-25th series at Boston. Total of (85) black and white photographs (mostly approx. 9"x13.5") capturing views of Yankees players from around Fenway Park as taken by noted photojournalist Fred Polumbaum. The shots include game action, warm-ups, and inside the locker room. Among the more notable pieces include an image of Mantle and Maris standing beside each other with backs to the camera as they watch batting practice; (8) additional photos of Mantle including (2) on the in deck circle (one a choice image of him kneeling), image with Elston Howard, image crossing home plate, and image of him at bat (a 9th photo likely shows Mantle but the full face can not discerned); (7) additional photos of Roger Maris including several batting and/or on deck and a game action shot of him in the field; photo of Yogi Berra and Ted Williams (Williams with his back to the camera); (9) photos of Yogi Berra; several which show Casey Stengel (some accounted for in the Berra count as he can be seen too); and Elston Howard seated on dugout steps. The balance feature a number of different players (and in many cases more than one in a particular photo). Each has "Life Magazine" and "Ted Polumbaum" markings on back.
