Description: Ken Heintzelman Philadelphia Phillies professional model home jersey c.1950 (NL Championship Season). Pinstriped jersey has "Phillies" team name across the front and number "27" on back. A "Heintzelman" embroidered strip tag appears in the collar. "Wilson" tag is on the left front tail with adjacent size "44" and wash tags. Exceptionally well preserved with appropriate use and wash wear evident throughout. The style of tagging employed is commonly associated with the 1950 season specifically. Heintzelman had won (17) games for the "Whiz Kids" in 1949 and would appear in (23) for the team during their 1950 National League Championship season.
