Description: Rare Chad Kimsey St. Louis Browns professional model road uniform c.1932-32 Gray flannel jersey has "St. Louis" team name embroidered across the front. Number "17" on back is a replacement. "Rawlings" tag in the collar has size "48" handwritten in ink with "11" noted below (meaning of this number is unknown). Player name "Kimsey" is chain stitched in the front tail. Matching pants are likewise by Rawlings (size 40 handwritten along with player number 17) with a "Kimsey" embroidered strip tag (the name "Pete" is written above). Use and strong general age related wear throughout with several period repairs (pants extensively repaired), an additional later repair (with cloth added) to the upper back of the jersey, and the pant legs have been trimmed with, what appears to be, a hem removed. Earlier than most Browns jerseys we have handled and an exceedingly rare style that is not likely to surface again for some time.
