Description: Kid Nichols' 1952 Baseball Hall of Fame Induction invitation with autographed envelope, pass, and other material. Original invitation to the July 21, 1952 Induction festivities in Cooperstown includes the mailing envelope which has been signed "Charles A. Nichols" on the back in ink rating 7/8 out of 10. Accompanied by the heavy stock "Guest Pass" sent to Nichols' (name typed on front) which would have allowed him and a guest admittance. Light general handling wear with some tear to the flap of the envelope. Also includes Hall related material as kept by Nichols and/or his descendants featuring several publications, postcards (several black and white HOF cards of other players and 1942 postmarked card sent to Nichols), Hall of Fame Game scorecards, a few pieces of correspondence, etc. Includes letter of provenance from the Nichols Family and auction LOA from JSA: VG-EXEstimated Price Range: ($1,000-$2,000)
