Description: Important 1892-1906 Wright & Ditson Minute Book autographed by George Wright (twice) and A.G. Spalding (four times). Hardcover (8.25"x13.75") ledger book with "Wright & Ditson. Minute Book." gilt lettered on the front contains (161) handwritten pages which record the events of Corporate meetings/policy at the famed Sporting Goods seller between January 22, 1892 and November 20, 1906. Hall of Famers George Wright and A.G. Spalding have signed in their respective capacities of Director and Temporary Secretary. Wright has signed twice (pages 135 and 146, each time appearing on documents which have been mounted to the page) and Spalding has signed four times (pages 108, 109, 121 and 143 with the last being a full name example). A wealth of information regarding the history of Wright & Ditson and the sale of the Company to A.G. Spalding & Bros. in 1892 can be found inside. The notable signatures are done in period ink rating 8/9 to 9 out of 10. Book itself has some mild general handling and storage wear which most notably affects the bound edge (binding remains intact but there is loss to the exterior leather running the length of the spine). Interior pages remain clean overall with only some light toning. Historic period baseball artifact with strong breakdown value. Includes full LOA from JSA: Sigs.
