Description: Babe Ruth autographed photograph (Ex-Barry Halper Collection). Black and white 6 1/2"x8 1/2" image showing Ruth standing with a young couple signed across the front, "To Sid Loberfeld and his beautiful wife. Sid my favorite Baseball Announcer Sincerely Babe Ruth". Signature and inscription remain quite bold rating 8/9 out of 10. Loberfeld was a radio man and broadcast some of the very first games with the Brooklyn Dodgers in the early 1930s. The image has a few minor surface scratches with some paper scrapbook residue on the reverse.
