Lot Number: 4

Description: 1930 Eric McNair Philadelphia Athletics "Worlds Champions" charm. Rare baseball shaped charm has been mounted to a ring setting for everyday wear. Lettered "1930 World Champions" around the edge with central portion featuring an inset diamond in crossed bats decoration with the A's elephant logo above. Team name "Athletics" is across the bottom. Although portions of the back are obscured by the mount some of the "Eric McNair" engraved name can be seen. Ring itself has "10K" mark and it is likely that an additional on the back of the charm is now covered by the mount. Light wear. McNair appeared in (78) games for the 1930 Athletics, one of the most dominant American League teams of the period who would claim their second consecutive World Series title that season. Includes letter of provenance from the McNair Family: EX-EX/MT
