Description: Rare 1914 B18 Blankets Hank Gowdy with red infield (ex-Copeland Collection). Scarce variation with red infield is one of just a handful known. In fine overall condition with the front sitting off center but showing no other mentionable wear (aside from the very faint fold lines with which it was issued). There is some minor residue on the back from where the piece was affixed to Egyptienne Straights Cigarettes package with which it originally came. In many cases this residue, which is commonly found on B18 blankets, can be removed: Displays NM OC, Technical EXEstimated Price Range: ($1,500-$2,000)
