September 29, 1972 dated letter on White House stationery has been secretarially signed "Richard Nixon" in period fountain pen rating 8/9 out of 10. Content reads in part, "Dear Mr. Bench...I was recently asked to name my all-time baseball team...this was a far more difficult task than I had anticipated...No team would be complete without your husband's name..."
