Description: 1968 Johnny Bench autographed All-Star Game professional model baseball bat. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 35.5" long and weighs 32.5oz. Bench facsimile signature and "All Star Game 1968 - Houston" text are impressed in the barrel. Model number "R161" is factory stamped in the knob. A touch of light surface wear, with no evident use, is visible throughout which is appropriate as Bench made no plate appearances in the game but did catch the bottom half of the 9th inning. It would mark the first of an eventual (14) appearances in the mid-summer Classic and come during the landmark season in which he became the first catcher to be named Rookie of The Year and the first Rookie to claim a Gold Glove at that position.
