Description: 1968 Johnny Bench National League All-Star Team selection telegram, congratulatory letter, and Astrodome cufflinks. Trio of pieces related to Bench's first All-Star selection (during his Rookie of The Year Award winning season) includes original July 3rd dated telegram sent by Warren Giles alerting Bench that he had been elected to the team (fold lines and some fading to a very small portion of the text); July 12, 1968 dated letter on National League stationery signed by Warren Giles (ink, 8/9 out of 10) congratulating him on his performance; and a pair of Astrodome cufflinks which are unmarked (the game was played in Houston).
