Description: 1965 Johnny Bench autographed Tampa Tarpons contract. "National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues" contract signed on June 23, 1965 represents the first professional contract signed by Bench after being drafted as the 36th overall pick. Signed "Johnny Lee Bench" in ink rating 8/9 out of 10. Also signed by his mother and a team representative and initialed by his father. Bench would earn accolades for his defensive play which was strong enough to earn an invitation to join the Reds for Spring Training in 1966. Typical mailing folds and a touch of light wear.
