Description: May 6, 1968 Johnny Bench autographed career home run #3 baseball - his first home run at Crosley Field. Spalding W. Giles Official National League baseball was hit by Bench for the third home run of his Rookie of The Year Award winning season. It marked the first which he hit in the Reds long time home, Crosley Field. The ball displays soiling and wear with a faded ink notation on the side panel which was placed there at the time. It has been signed and inscribed on the adjacent panel, "Johnny Bench, 5-6-68 HR #3, First HR at Crosley Field." Bench would go on the set numerous Reds and catcher related hitting and home run records. Includes auction LOA from JSA and letter of provenance from Johnny Bench: EXEstimated Price Range: ($1,000-$3,000)
