Description: Russ Meyer professional model Philadelphia Phillies jersey, c.1950. The offered jersey was worn during the magical 1950 season by pitcher Russ Meyer, and then passed down to a minor league player in 1951. Grey flannel jersey retains "Meyer" name chain stitched in collar, Wilson and size tags on the front tail, original embroidered team name, and #34 on back. Light wear with a small team repaired tear in tail, a small hole on the back, and staining on the left side. Superb example of a very tough Phillies jersey.
