Description: Rube Bressler attributed professional model baseman's mitt c.1915. Rawlings professional quality baseman's mitt (RHT) which originated from Bressler as presented to author Larry Ritter during the writing of "The Glory of Their Times". Glove show heavy use including missing a portion of its leather backstrap. Rawlings label affixed to the back and glove has been signed by Bressler in black ink. Matted and framed in shadowbox style museum display with a cut signature and photo of Bressler. Bressler was a pitcher and later outfielder for the Athletics and Cincinnati Reds, primarily. Includes 2003 dated note from collector Richard Merkin confirming presentation to Ritter: VG-EXEstimated Price Range: ($750-$1,500)
