Description: "Play Ball" coin-operated baseball themed game by Ekholm c.1950s. Metal encased table top game allowed players to hit a gumball into a field of play for a penny. Visible through the glass is a printed cardstock insert which has "Play Ball" titling and images of Eddie Collins and an unidentified pitcher. Marked "Elkholm Mfg. Co." on the paper playing field (which is separating slightly from the interior metal base. Mild wear consistent with long term use and storage and a decal which can be found on the top front of other examples of this game is no longer present.
