Description: Very rare 1980 Philadelphia Phillies World Series ring as presented to Granny Hamner. Desirable original 10K gold ring features the stylized "P" logo on top face comprised of (8) diamonds set within a gold border displayed against a maroon stone background. "World Champions" is lettered around the outside beveled edge; interior reads "Philadelphia Phillies." Left shank has the year "1980" in relief above a detailed rendering of the World Series trophy complete with "World Champions Phillies" on its base. Right has the name "Hamner" at top with Veterans Stadium below and Series game totals for "KC" and "P" below. Marked on the interior band, "LGB 10K." Ring is size 10.75 with weight of one Troy ounce displaying minimal overall wear. One of a select number of examples of this highly sought after Championship ring with direct ties to the Phillies organization to have entered the marketplace.
