Description: Rare 1972 Joe Lis Philadelphia Phillies professional model road jersey - first year of the famed "Powder Blue" style. Button front jersey has the Phillies "P" team logo on left front chest and number "25" on the right. The number also appears on back. In the collar is a "Lis" embroidered strip tag and an additional on the front tail reads "44 72 Set 1." Also on the front tail is a Wilson tag noting size, "44." Strong usage and some general age and wash related wear throughout. An exceedingly rare all original example (missing only the lowest button on front) from the first year of a now trademark style.
