Description: Steve Carlton autographed Philadelphia Phillies professional model hat c.1970s. Classic style done in maroon with "P" team logo embroidered on front and a white button accent. "Wilson Professional Cap+" tag appears on the interior band beside an "7 1/8" size stamp. On the underside is a "DWC" date code suggesting manufacture in April of 1971 likely indicating use by Carlton during his first Phillies season of 1972. Number "32" is written under the brim in vintage marker and the hat is signed "Steve Carlton" rating 8/9 out of 10. Strong usage wear evident throughout with sweat and dirt staining.
