Description: 1939 Baseball Centennial banner. Oversized flag done in red, white, and blue reads "Baseball Centennial" with an "1839-1939" logo at the center. "Annin" makers label is sewn on the left edge (which has a pair of grommets to facilitate hanging) which is stamped with the dimensions "4x6FT." In fine overall condition with little mentionable wear. One of a handful to have surfaced which are believed to have been used during the Inaugural Hall of Fame Induction ceremonies. A photograph can be found online showing a similar flag, mounted on a pole, being carried through the streets of Cooperstown during the festivities: EX/MTEstimated Price Range: ($1,500-$2,500)
