Description: Ginger Beaumont Chicago Cubs professional model road pants c.1910. Pinstriped gray flannel pants have a "Spalding" manufacturer's tag in the waist with "Beaumont" chain stitch embroidered below. Also in the waist is an additional tag which bears a handwritten number and was likely added later as part of a cataloging process. Well preserved and in fine overall condition with usage and some age related wear including a few small moth holes. Then in the twilight of a (12) year career, Beaumont spent his final season (1910) with the Cubs, who would claim the N.L. Pennant, and made pinch-hitting appearances in (3) World Series games.
