Description: Outstanding Wright & Ditson ring decorated "Home Rule" baseball bat c.1880s. Early 38.25" hand turned bat featuring (4) rings at the center which surround a "Wright & Ditson" makers mark. Opposite this the words "Home Rule" have been painted in gold and black lettering. Either end is likewise painted with a darker finish. In fine overall condition with mild scattered wear to include several scrapes and scuffs.
