Description: Joe DiMaggio professional model baseball bat c.1950-51. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with DiMaggio facsimile signature in the barrel measures 36" long and weighs 33.7oz. Model number "D29L" has been factory stamped in the knob. Both measurements and model number correspond to shipments noted in DiMaggio's Louisville Slugger factory records and traits within the centerbrand help narrow the time period of manufacture to 1950 and 1951 specifically. The bat is uncracked and has a hint of light surface wear (little to no visible use). A highly desirable game bat as gifted to a Ruth Family member by one of the Yankees most noted players.
