Description: 1960 World Series attributed baseball from the Ruth Family Collection. Soiled and well used ball has period ink notations written across the sweetspot relating to the Series which pitted New York against Pittsburgh. A game score ("Yankees 10 - Pitt. 0") presumably relates to Game (3) which was played at Yankee Stadium. It is likely that Claire Ruth attended the game although this has not been substantiated.
