Description: Babe Ruth display bust c.1970s-80s. Lifelike relief showing Ruth in New York Yankees cap was created by the Ruth Family in the late 1970s or 1980s from a mold done by the noted pottery firm, Gare. The Family had requested the mold in hopes of making pieces for charity with this being the sole piece that they ended up creating. Measures approximately 14" across and is housed in a 21"x21.5" wooden frame. Light wear. Includes letter of provenance from the Ruth Family: EXEstimated Price Range: ($500-$1,000)
